Ostwind. Winning energy.
OSTWIND is an independent family business which was founded by Gisela Wendling-Lenz and Ulrich Lenz. The medium-sized corporate group, which has offices in Regensburg, Strasbourg and Prague, develops, project-manages and constructs wind farms. So far, OSTWIND has planned, constructed and connected up 540 wind turbines with a total capacity of 920 megawatts. The managing directors in Germany are Dr. Rolf Bungart and Jörg Zinner.
OSTWIND has evolved from a pioneer of wind power to become an international player in the growth sector of "renewable energies". With offices in Germany, France and the Czech Republic as well as in other selected countries, the medium-sized family company sets the highest standards right across Europe when it comes to wind power.
OSTWIND is able to draw here on a wealth of experience gained from almost 25 years of successful development work and is regarded as one of the "most renowned planning offices", according to the trade magazine "Neue Energie". Our know-how is therefore very much in demand today throughout the full spectrum of renewable energies – for example also when it comes to implementing forward-looking solar installations.
OSTWIND is an international and interdisciplinary team of around 100 experienced and dedicated employees. As a result of our successful national and international project development, today another 1,000 megawatts are in the pipeline for implementation - maybe also in partnership with you!
